OK....my 7 year old daughter wants to go boat fishing. I'm looking for a good kid friendly guide for sandies or hybrids. We live on Lewisville so I'd prefer to start there. I'm alright with fishing but shes more into catching so I'm also needing to know the best time to go for some pretty fast action for her.

Thanks Todd & Kerry, but Don the Angler here is having a tough time catching anything at the present. The catching should begin soon.

And Todd, why must we wait one whole year before we take our wives to Pappadeaux?

Don, I misread the date of your "knot" post. Thought you took your spousal unit yesterday. But its today instead, doh! You two love birds have a romantic V dinner tonight! Sure we can hook up at Papa for lunch or dinner. Always thought you live near Denton for some reason. Lol

I know fishing is tough at most lakes now. But Don knows when the time comes smile

I do the sandbass and hybrid Striper spawn in the river and creeks at multiple lakes. Last year was Lewisville. All from the bank. Info in the bank section. Click link below

http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/7344570/1/Annual_White_Bass_&_Hybrid

All trips are $150 for up to two people from the banks when they come up the creeks and rivers. No need for a boat when they look like salmon in front of you.

Kids are always welcome.

Check out our website also. We love kids and are catching lots of sandbass right now. We have opening tomorrow also. We ran 4 boats today and all trips had atleast 50 fish each.
Good luck

I have repeatedly said this on here! You can not go wrong with Big Crappie .com. All of the guides at great. I have been on a lot of trips with them and they are great for family fun. My wife and two daughters. Have had a great time also. I have chartered boats before where you weren't sure you were gonna ever be seen again. Lol. Chuck and his crew are very nice, well spoken clean individuals. They even have all their teeth. Chris Webb is the guide I always recommend if you are taking kids. He is live and loud. He is a high fiving, hooting, good job, way to go kind of guy. If your child is like mine that makes all the difference. You can't go wrong and kudos to you sir for doing things with your child.

ALL the Guides listed above will give you a GREAT Trip, but I think Greg's comments would persuade me to go with Chuck and the Guys at Big Crappie!!!

"All the Guides even have all their teeth!" smile

Anyone looking for the Kid's and Family trip on Richland Chambers, check us out at www.gonefishin.biz .

Good Luck!
