I have had this unit for a little while and have just never asked this question. At about what speed should my unit quit reading? I mean, if I go about 2-10 mph my Side scan works ok but anything over that it just quits reading. My sonar still reads depth but everything else sort of flat lines. Would it be placement of transducers or what?

Thanks
Jeff

Typically you lose side scan at 6-9 mph, depending on how you have the transducer mounted. At that speed the LSS transducer is starting to come out of the water. If you have your broadband transducer installed to shoot through the hull then it should work reliably up to >50 mph.
