IPO, give it a break hotforbucks, there's lots of good christians and fisherman make gear at home I've bought some great spinnerbaits and jigs from independent small businessmen on this site. There's rod makers all kinds a small businesses I'd rather support. There is not an item on the list that isn't made by guys on this site. MLM/bigbusiness whopdeedoo, you wanna preach you should lend a hand to the little guys.
Maybe you will sell me when I see all this effort and future profits going to orphans, disabled vets and their families or widowed mothers etc.
Another hustle, what's new, get one those pancake signs with a big cross on it and dance in the street with it. Better yet take a look in the mirror you sound like you got self righteous on ya.

Pretty interesting comments. Doesn't take one long to see why our country is in the shape it is in. Someone speculates on something without having much knowledge then runs wild with it while others jump on the express worried they will be left out of the bashing without having any idea what they are bashing in the first place. I have been posting some of the information because we want anglers to be informed about Tim's company Profound Outdoors. We figure folks are smart enough to say yes, I like that lure, or no, not for me. As far as a scheme, You will always have haters, doubters, and those who just hate the free enterprise system because of the competition. I work with Al Odum who is the national director for the fishers of men national tournament trail, the largest Christian based bass fishing tournament circuit in the country, www.fomntt.com and close personal friends with Timmy Horton and Gary Klein who he introduced my to. I decided to support these guys because of their proactive stance in supporting our mission which is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to anglers and their families. As a devout Christian, I believe that is important. Unfortunately, some who are atheist or believe in something other that the One True God will see this as an additional opportunity to bash a Christian. That is your God Given right to do because of the free country we live in. I would like to answer some of the post to set a few things straight hopefully and let anglers with common sense make their own judgement. First, when you go to a profound website, it will have an anglers name. It is the website of Profound Outdoors with their tag so the hard work they did advertising the company will get them a commission reward. Timmy sees having anglers represent the company instead of spending hundreds of thousands on advertisements during times when most anglers are on the lake doing what they love is just smart business. Yes, there are levels that anglers can work towards to earn additional dollars for working hard. Hey, the American Way at its finest but a way only a few know. As far as dumping your money or life saving as I saw one post incorrectly assume, it is simple. Timmy wants you to see what you are buying so he offers an option of buying a package for $79. Here is what you get, you get $85 back in lures to try out and show your buddies, money you would spend anyway on these lures somewhere else, you will get a link to the company website which is the same website for everyone, just anglers linked name so that they can get the credit for referring someone. How many of you have told someone about a lure you used that was fantastic and told your buddy where to buy it. Same thing just now you get rewarded. You also get access to the pros on the bassmaster elite trail and flw trail. Two weeks ago, Edwin Evers, Kelly Jordon, Gary Klein, Timmy Horton, and others gave their personal email to all anglers listening on the call. When is the last time you had that happen at any other tackle store. There is never any other investment to make. You don't have to buy tackle, you dont have to sell tackle, it is that simple. Also, saw a post where the poster thought the lures were overpriced. My guess someone scared of the competition and trying to make Profound look bad. Take a look for yourself. What lure would you like to buy: a spinnerbait made by someone who pays someone to put their name on it or a spinnerbait designed by a group of guys with over 30 bassmaster classics under their belts and personally designed to the specifications they asked to have it built. Take a look at the price. Profounds topwater walking bait that is $9.99 is very similar to baits sold for $15 or more with one difference, profound's bait has been tweaked by Aaron Martins, Edwin Evers, and others who know from experience what works. Saw a post where the poster thought most baits were designed by the pros. Welcome to the world of sponsorships and not so much true. Edwin Evers spoke for a while on this the other night. Yes, some baits are designed by pros or at least they approve that their name can be put on it. Many though just have their name put on it. Edwin discussed his recent visit to a big name retailer where he saw his name on lures he had no idea he was sponsoring. Said he wouldnt have used them in a tournament for nothing. You will not find that at Profound Outdoors and Able to offer it at a discounted price because Timmy doesnt have the high advertisement overhead. I could go on and on. I know what amway is and the energy drink craze, got into that once and was terrible for me. Works great for some. I can say this is nothing like those. It is folks who normally tell others about lures and what works great, just now can be rewarded. I am personally using these lures on our trail and when they work, I pass this information on to my buddies. If they see they like it, they can buy it and Timmy thanks me by recording a commission for my work. Nothing is hidden here. These are the real pros. You can like it or hate it or just completely abhor it because of the Christian Principles of truth and honesty involved. Unfortunately, there will be some that represent the company incorrectly and folks will get a bad taste. All we can do is say sorry. If you really want to know what it is all about, we are letting anglers call in for free for the conference call where Timmy, Al,Gary, Boyd, Edwin, Paul, and many others will tell you about what is going on, what is coming up, and what to expect. Nothing hidden, No secret lures, just lures that work tweaked and made better by the pros. Anglers, make your own decisions like you would at any tackle store. For me, it was easy because I was involved in the beginning stages. Buy a bait and see for yourself. I have recommended baits to several of my friends, they love them and realize they are quality lures with the Jigs, mj rigs, swim jigs, spinner baits, and many others products made right here in the USA. If you want to see for yourself, click the link to go to the website www.profoundoutdoors.com/proschoice and simply register. From some of the posts, its as if you will be sucked into another dimension where there is no escape. Not to fear, Profound will send you an email when new lures are released, information about the company, and you will get the phone number and passcode to join the call on Tuesday nights where you can hear the pros for yourself and make your own conclusions. You can choose to do it or not but it is real, with real lures, designed by real pros, at real good prices. You can just buy lures if you want but if you would like to refer your friends because of the quality lures, simply join. You have the choice because you can make your own decision. God Bless and Good Fishing. In one post you made up my mind about this deal. Wish you guys luck, but I will keep on shopping at my regular suppliers.

That was train wreck of a post Mr. Hotforbucks. I would delete it and move on.
I could make more than a few dollars doing something like this as I have 100's of folks call me month in and month out wanting to know what they should buy for their trip. Some are clients, but many more are average people just looking for tips and info. Here is why I will not do this and it has nothing to do with the men that founded this idea.

Good luck with the venture and for people like Matt Reed I really hope it's a winner. A step in the right direction would be to delete that post.

As a devout Christian, I believe that is important. Unfortunately, some who are atheist or believe in something other that the One True God will see this as an additional opportunity to bash a Christian. That is your God Given right to do because of the free country we live in. You seem to imply people are questioning Profound Outdoors because of you're a Christian? What in the heck...what is next? Calling me a Nazi because I am balding? Interesting. I am a Christian and I wouldn't normally raise an eyebrow to a business using it unless that business was operating on a thin line of legality and ethics. MLM's and Christanity have been discussed at length, many many times. They go together like water and oil. http://www.buildinghishouse.org/articles/mlm.shtml Every post you have on this forum has been related to Profound Outdoors, try and make that a little more transparent next time. You are not simply posting as a member of the profound "team" as you make it appear, but you are obviously an employee or part owner of Profound Outdoors. Unbelievable. I made a screenshot of the original reply, I'm sure it will disappear.

I don't even see a top water bait listed as a product. Just jigs and spinnerbaits

Jay Good advice from a great guy . Is that Hotforbucks meaning "deer" or is that Hotforbuck$? Might want to take a step off of that pedestal sir.

Not sure what to do on this one. Our forums have always been very strict about enforcing a policy of no promoting multi level or pyramid type businesses models. There are some good people involved in this, but if we open the door for them, others will follow.
