Agreed! It is so easy I'm suprised you don't have one yet. I think all cat guides should. It makes it that much easier to catch and release when you don't have to bring a potential record back to the dock to weigh. Great fish by the way.

If my comment didnt bother you then why resort to name calling? I simply was trying to pointout that this man caught a fish of a lifetime and here you felt the need to try and bash the guide that put him on the fish....kind of ridiculous imo. As for big pig? Yup thats me :-). No little man syndrome here, i thank the good lord for blessing me with natural size and strength i just wish he would have shaved a few inches off the height and put those points to fishing skills like some of these other fishing naturals i feel so blessed to have learned from on this forum!!! Salsa isnt the only or best guide on here, there are other great ones that share equally as much information. I dislike however how for some reason people feel the need to dog his posts.....anyways we all know Mrs. Salsa is the best on here :-).

He does have certified scales on his boat. There is more to it than just snapping a couple photos. You have to have 2 other witnesses and several photos showing the weight and showing that the tail is off the ground.

He said that the fish didn't look great after the fight so they wanted to get the fish back into the water ASAP so the fish would live. The guy who caught it knows he had the record and that is the main thing.

My original post about his fishing report was meant to be a joke. I forget that read text make sarcasm harder to recognize. I wasn't trying to put down Salsa. His sonar video was the most helpful one I've watched so far on finding blue cats. I'm not on this forum for negativity or bashing anyone. I am here to try to learn from better fisherman than myself and maybe acquire a new fishing buddy or two. I apologize for the BigPig comment. I blame whiskey for that one. It will not happen again.

My apologies then Mr. Medic, ive just seen so many negative responses to some of Salsa's posts recently that i didnt take into consideration you may have been jacking with him in good fun. So again, im sorry for jumping to conclusions and may the Lord put you on many big fish! :-).

I still say Mrs. Salsa taught the Mr. Everything he knows!! Lol!!
