I'm thinking about adding led strip lights to my front and back deck on my boat. Just trying to get some feedback from people who have already done this. Is it worth it?

I love mine. Two things...have the deck lights and the compartment lights on different switches, and get a dimmer switch for the deck lights. Only negative is that the deck lights are too bright.

I went with the red led lights on the deck because they are easier on your eyes at night. Got all mine from TheTackleSmith.com and couldn't be happier.

I love my LEDs, they are red, great on the eyes, provides good light, yet not to bright, mine are mounted in my T Top shining down instead of up and in my face.

I love mine, but get a dimmer for sure and try to mount them so that they point down at the carpet.
I went with blue. I've heard of people getting crossways with the law by using green or red because it conflicts with navigation lights.

I've thought about LED lights for my boat also, can any of y'all that installed them post pic of your boat? I would like to see the red lights on the boat.
Thanks

Just added LED driving light on front of Minn Kota trolling motor and it is awesome. This is a great safety feature, not only can you be seen but can see what's ahead. It is also good for loading and unloading your boat.
