to help the texas anglers better follow the progression of the temperature increases we will be seeing soon I thought it may be nice to start a thread with current water temps on bodies of water here in texas a lot of the area lakes in the north central texas region experienced what appeared to be lower then normal water temperatures to me .... I heard a low for LL yesterday that was surprising to me ....under 40 as I remember ? anyway if anyone wants to drop in and give current water temps it might be helpful to others .... I will be trying to get around some and post what I find ... best of luck to all .....

It was 41 on a lake I was at.

Lake Lewisville is 40 to 42 depending on where you are at. This was from last Sunday so I doubt it has improved since then.

I once caught a fish on Lake X when the water temp was X with a X colored jig in X depth of water. Hope this helps.

TPWD fishing reports have water temp and water clarity. Todays temp is good to know.
