Would you offer some suggestions for a light-weight, sensitive, strong Carolina Rig rod? I'm willing to spend up to about $250, maybe a little more if necessary.

Dobyns - 804(Carolina rig specific), 784 & Extreme 795flip (7'9 MH) are three great options and they are all lightweight with a good parabolic action... I like the 7'9-8ft rods because they pick up a lot of line when you set the hook and you have more overall leverage on controlling a fish.
Falcon - Cara Carolina (7'6 H) - is a lightweight rod that I liked as well, buuut it's laying on the bottom of Lake Ray Hubbard as of a couple of years ago.
I'm sure you'll get plenty of other good opinions to choose from as well.. Good luck!

Thanks very much guys. These sound like good suggestions. Probably would be happy with any of them. I'll check them all out.

Dobyns Extreme 784 is my all time favorite followed by a Kister Helium 7-6 H.
I haven't tried the Dobyns 804 because I already have two 784's and they work very well.
I have heard others talking about the 784 being their favorite for flutter spoons and football head jigs as well.
