The Bigger blues are starting to move around now, great day out today fishing with Mr Rogers
He has his boat all slicked up,rigged out(better) and just couldnt wait to get it wet

We found 9 over 30" and 11 eaters under 5lb with a slow drift (socks down)in 20-24'of water
Been a slow run this year but it appears to be game on from here on out on the HILL.
Real nice day to be out,55*F was appreciated.
Full Moon phase this weekend should make it near impossible,so best of luck to those that attempt.

No word on Kirby, still dead slow on "real bait",fresh perch are scarce to none.

Nice to hear someone is catching some good fish, it's been slow and tough for me since January but as soon as they turn on I will be there to catch em on my area lake, I hope it's soon cause I'm starting to think I've lost my touch

Dont let these forums fool you, winter cat hunting is very tuff on average(smaller) lakes in Texas
Most dont have the proper winter gear to wait them out.
We fished ALL DAY,which I rarely do and caught most before 1pm
If it werent the moon phase it is I would be out there tomorrow for the afternoon run 10-5pm

Lewisville has been very slow at best. A friend convinced me to make the road trip southeast. Its been worth it.

Got talked into rollin out this morning,

Fish follow different patterns in extreme low water/cold conditions
on the smaller western lakes.Good electronics and patience can put fish in the boat.
We fished pretty hard and never really figured a pattern,it was a good day(but one of them days)
Back out this morning looking where we lost some hard pullers and didnt get a hit one, after 5hrs we decided BBQ was a better option.

I aint the best at anything, never claim fame, just pretty dang good at catching fish
Spend less time on FB and other media distractions and anyone can become "good" at most anything.

Anyone here out there today? Got out there around 3 and lake was packed. Ended up having to find a spot south of the silos, within around two hours had around a 17" blue and then a bite later on, not much else. Still better than expected given the lack of spots we'd rather have.

Only ones out today were those that do not follow full moon phases
Great day to be out without a doubt, better day to catch up on honey-do's and other "task"
that would possibly deter near future outings.
Checked 14 items off my/her list today,Im good for all next month rolfmao

I know of a lot of BIG fish caught today...even some 5 fish stringers reaching almost 300lbs! Whats that say for your moon phase?

I'm gonna miss her....

I was simply asking a question, I figured the catfish guru could explain to me why the moon phase affects the fishing...I know it has something to do with it at times, but it was just a question...you don't have to go telling me how much money you make, how much beer you drink, how many girlfriends you have, how nice your boat is, how good a shot you are, how strong you are, how many bulls you use to ride, how HUGE the shad are on phantom, how far you can cast, OR HOW IGNORANT YOU ARE! That is all....

I'm gonna miss her....
