Monte I disagree. I have fished the lake almost every weekend the past three months and there is no where near 100 boats on the lake. What Sid needs to do is make you pay a deposit or pay outright for the reservation. There are alot of people getting up early and just signing up and playing the weather game and not cancelling if they aren't going to make it.Heck I've done it myself.

I agree. Ive signed up the same day
as my partner just in case something pops up.

I forgot to cancel mine one weekend. I'd bet
there hasn't been many... if any all 100 show up.

You exactly right, the problem though is numerous people are making reservations for ALL 3 days just in case they decide to go and that eliminates openings for everyone else.

Btw. It was cool of Squaw to return
the money to those who wanted a refund.

This is pretty sorry to me....Jeremy posted the thread asking about a reservation and I've seen 2 others trying to steal the thread and get reservations for their selfs.

Great idea if we had to pay at the time of making the reservation there would be a lot less unused spots and everybody that wanted to get on would be able to get a spot.

That was very cool I had a situation once where my boat wouldnt start so I tied it up and jumped in with somebody else at the end of the day one of the staff members came to me and said the front gate was going to refund my money. I explained that it was ok and I got to fish but they insisted on giving it back because I was not able to fish out of my boat. Nice folks out there for sure....

Should definitely have to pay when you make your reservation.

Just wait til March and you wont have any problems getting a reservation as all the tournaments will be going elsewhere!

The way they do this is not right. I tried this morning at 530 and there were none available for Saturday or Sunday. There should be a waiting list so that it maintains the first come first serve basis. My friend got one on Monday morning and I tried about 15 minutes after he did and it was full. He was boat number 100. Just aggravating I guess.

Technically the way they do it is fine, it's the people that abuse the system with multiple reservations etc. that screw it up for others.

It's not first come first serve. It is for the first 100 but they should have a waiting list in case someone returns one. Then it would be first come first serve. The first on the waiting list would get first chance at returned reservations and so on and so forth. I guess you misunderstood what I said. If you would have read the rest of my post it stated that.
