I have a power pole and love it.
I also have a Minn Kota Terrova Trolling motor. It has an anchor function
along with other cool features.
The power pole is more stealthy in shallow water but the Terrova has it beat six
Ways from Sunday with the other features you get as part of the deal.
The Terrova lets you anchor in any depth and concentrate on fishing.
Check it out before you buy
Bob

Let me think about it for a minute......but friends of mine do just fine with one. Two is better but not twice as good as one.

Smurfs - I have the Blade, I am a big fan of MinnKota trolling motors but they didn't offer a 10' Talon.
I keep finding reasons for using it but I use mine primarily for holding the boat in place when I have to get off the trolling motor.
I fish with kids a lot and don't have the luxury of having a partner jump on the trollmotor.
A few uses - stick a fish, stay in the zone(don't use my marker buoys nearly as much)
have to retie, change rod or bait - you don't lose your position or get pushed too shallow or on the rocks etc.
anchor at the ramp or dock(many times I am alone or with kids when launching)
I only have the one and yes it will swing in the wind if you have to get off the TM, but I still haven't moved off my spot..........
not sure if I will buy a second one, but I don't regret buying this one, good luck

If you get two you're looking at around $4000.00, If you have the money and fish big tournament's then you might need them. I don't know I'll just continue using my two anchor system that cost $ 40.00.
