What is the predominant species of bream/perch/bluegill at Fork? Not counting bass...

Having baits made and wondering which species is most common in fork? I'm guessing red ear what you guys think?

Bream/bluegill something mimicking a crappie or barfish can work well at times

Not as many perch/bluegill/bream as many years ago thanks to all the water turkey's.

Havnt seen a red ear in there personally. But I have seen regular old blue gills normally see them under the bridges right at the surface to scared to go out into the sun and air born predators. And too scared to go more than a foot deep because of what's below lol. I don't know if its because the are under the bridge and don't get much light but the ones I see are very pale in color.

I noticed a few years ago when the gills were beaded up for spawn on a sandy point south of Coffee Creek, that they looked very orange in the foot or so water they were in. I went to a tackle store and bought a Poe's (remember those guys?) Super cedar crank bait in a burnt orange color. I guess it was close enough to the right color, I caught fish on it.....
