I've been watching Honey Hole since........it was.
Always loved watching the shows that Jerry produced because they were always filmed on MY lakes. OUR lakes.
And the magazine.....
I had so many that when I moved four years ago - I gave boxes of them to my fishing nephew...couldn't bear to throw them out.

Now, after saying all that..
Kudos to Bill and the new production team for the all new "Honey Hole, All Outdoors".
To say it is much improved is a whopping understatement.
New graphics (it's now HD), new sponsors, new boat, heck even Bill looks like they've polished him up a bit.

But here's what's REALLY different:
It's just Bill in the boat, solo, catching fish AND giving us INFO THAT WE CAN ALL USE.

He doesn't just cast and wind and giggle.
He actually tells you what he's doing and WHY he's doing it.

To me, THAT is what the best fishing shows have always done.
Don't just catch 'em and holler "good fish, good fish, man that's a pig",
tell me HOW you're doing it, where the fish are located, what the pattern is.

Thanks, new Honey Hole folks, we now have many years of shows to look forward to.

I really enjoy his shows too. Doesn't seem Hollywood and pluggin' products all the time

Very good show. Nice to see Bill doing on TV what he's always done with me and anyone else lucky enough to fish tournaments with him. He truly wants to make his partner better, and his show tips and techniques are exactly the same advice.

Couldn't bare watching the old version of the show. I look forward to finding them in the DVR now. He stepped his game up tremendously and is fishing with some intensity.

The new show is great, couldn't picture anything better other than being out there with him.

I especially like how in the last episode he basically said despite having lure companies that sponsor the show he will be throwing what is getting bit and tell it how it is.

Too many other shows are extended commercials because nowadays they know you fast forward through the normal commercial breaks.

I have watched the show about 3 years now. I like the new version a lot better, but enjoyed the old as well. Something about that show both old and new version has given me more tips than any other fishing show combined. Probably a lot of it is that you get to watch shows on the lakes you fish. I will have to say he seems to be giving a lot more tips on the new version. I love how he shows what's actually going on in one day on the water instead of heading to Mexico and filming 3 or 4 days.

I've been watching honey hole for about 15 yrs, having said that I do agree they HAVE stepped up their game.i like what they've done great job

I really like this! I've said on many occasions oh no his sponsors are not going to like that comment. He cares more about catching the fish rather then selling the products. It's funny didn't he pick up quantum as a sponsor? It looked like he was throwing a dobyns rod on Sundays show.

KEEP IT UP BILL!

I've watched Honey Hole since it started....now that I'm in East Tennessee, it's great to see someone fishing on the lakes I loved to fish....keep up the good work

Bill does an awesome job, I feel like I am getting an education when I watch Bill, I really like the part at the end where he actually shows his lure set up(s). I also learned that I had missed some really good lakes that were right under my nose in Welch and Martin Creek.
The main thing we need to do for Bill right now is to buy from his sponsors and let the no it is because of Bill Wilcox and Honey Hole All Outdoors that you are buying their product......I want to see this continue long into the future.....

I like watching the new show ,can't wait for a new one every week , my hats off to Bill.

Hey one other thing, all you guys that are new to the sport here's your opportunity to get some real education. I highly recommend recording the shows and watching them until you have them memorized. Want to learn a pattern for a particular time of year? Record Bill!

I really like this show. Every other fishing show is exactly what 14inchBass called them; extended commercials. The "host" always has some sponsor's marketing guy with him. From start to finish, it's non-stop talk about the products they are pushing.

I like the show, but Major League Fishing, is the absolute worst. I watched the championship the other night. They had commercials every 5 minutes!!!
