Oklahoma State Park outside of Kingston. You are right on Catfish Bay.

Thank you LL. I appreciate your response. Have you ever stayed there, if so how's the fishin?

I see a lot of RV'ers at the Lighthouse Marina. Right off Hwy120 north of Pottsboro. Near the mouth and on the west side of Little Mineral and close to being mid lake on the east side of Preston Peninsula. Gas dock, small sand beach area and decent boat ramp. About 70 miles from the Bush & Central Expwy. Great fishing close by. Take Hwy 84 exit west, turn left at yellow blinker, turn right at Hwy 120 stop sign (at the Chevron station) go north on hwy 120 about 7-8 miles to the big red lighthouse & lifeboat.
Burns Run on the Okie side at north end of the dam is a great place too. Big park very clean with lots of campsites. Take last Texas exit west, and then cross the top of the dam, turn left at Park entrance before you get to the next turn. Great fishing close by.
Super pretty place on Okie side just north of Hwy 377 "Willis" bridge. Park is semi secluded with improved campsites. Cross the bridge, turn right about a mile north of the bridge just as you you come into a developed area. Nice looking ramp area, though I've never used it. If you get into the "town" of Willis you've gone too far. Park is on the west side of Buncombe Creek about 2/3's way back from the lake, very wind protected. Better fishing for Stripers in the early spring or late fall this far west. Good access a couple miles to the east to the Islands, the Cross, the Oil Well Point area and the mouth of Big Mineral area.

Ron pretty much tied it all up in a neat little bundle for you, Jobob. Great access to the mid-lake areas that are holding fish from any of the sites he mentioned.

I have stayed at East Burns Run on the OK side of the dam and it is very nice, peaceful and right on the water with two boat ramps.

The OK State Park is very nice...the even have 2 bedroom cabins for rent. The fishing just out of Catfish Bay and on around the railroad bridge is great.

My family has stayed there many times a year fo over 30 years. It really is a great setup. If you can find him, Fuzzy just stayed there on Memorial Day weekend in an RV.

I spend about every other weekend on Texoma... Preston Point area, right next to VFW post, and there are lots of good places to stay. Lots of good fishing there too! State parks are the most reasonable as far as price, but Little Mineral, Light House, Grand Pappy Point, or even the Legion (club fee) are all good places to park an RV. I'd stay away from Legion if you want to use a ramp. Their ramp is narrow and rough for alignment if the wife backs the trailer. eek
