Anyone know if they are going to have any GOOD sales on jigging poles? Was looking to pick up a couple for my kids, something in the 9 ft range with reels too.

I want to go but can't.
Are you planning any video recording?

What about next week's topic? Same?

It would be nice if it was video taped and posted on their site or youtube.

Sorry, don't have to lie to my wife if I want to buy something within reason. Yes, it's for the kids. They already have spinning outfits but only 5'6" rods which are great for casting jig/cork combos and an assortment of lures for crappie, sandbass and some bass fishing. However, some crappie fishing is a little easier when you have the correct tools for the job, hence the need for longer poles to dabble jigs around brush, standing timer, etc without having to put the boat directly on top of the targeted area.

I use a 13' telescopic crappie pole for these situations. I have a line holder on them to contain the extra line.

They make them up to 16' but 13' is more than enough for me.

They cost $6.90 here. I bought several of them, along with other items from this site. So I have spares for guests or in case the grandkids or I break one. Being telescopic they don't require much space and if one gets broke, I don't feel so bad since they cost so little.

I plan on going next Saturday, never seen Wally in action. I went today and saw Jeff Schwieterman, caught the last half, it was a little crowded, but not real bad.
Which store Garland or Grapevine has a better setup for these shows.?
I feel like a sardine in Grapevine when they do these. Just my opinion.

Crappie or Bass Fishing-It's a REQUIRED Sport!

Attended the Garland BPS store and seminar yesterday. Not crowded for the 11 AM seminar. The Guys from BnM covered the Crappie basic for spring and early summer fishing. Browsed the store and home by 5 pm.

Using the site for a while...this is really great to share fishing ideas and success with others.

I'm there next Saturday!

11am - how to locate and catch spawning crappie

2 pm - where to target crappie after the spawn and how

Last seminar, we couldn't find a cable to the TV so no slid show. The next ones there will be a slide show so it will make more sence.

20 plus free brush piles w GPS at lake Lavon for when y'all leave! Then u won't have to follow me around the lake. These r my piles. I have over 100 out there and I'll even teach y'all how to locate them on your home lake too!
