ad the best day I ever had on EM! Didn't break the 20# mark but good action!

The run down...looked for catchable bait for a hour and a half. Took a chance on shallow water. I could mark a few here and there... not enough to make me want to throw in 36� water repeatedly with an air temp of 29�! So worked an area for about an hour. Just as I was going to give up turned off the outboard fired up the trolling motorworked my way along a boarder of 4fow. Thought I had hit mud cause the screen whited out. Took my foot off the controller and made one throw.


Shredded my net on about 2 and a half dozen white bass gill plates. Picked them all out of the crowd and still had about 22 # of shad after! Thought I was pulling in a freshly dumped xmas tree or something! New net is in order this week no snag.. had several of these in the mix...


4 fow 36�.... jury is still out on that one..

Motored around for a while playing with my settings and switching hands to drive cause it was cold! Marked some fish...



I caught a 18# the biggest of the day, 13#, 10, 11, and 22 eaters in the range of 2-7#. Started with 8 poles ended up trying to keep 3-4 in water. I only got to photo the 18 then workout! And I say this was a solo trip. I probably could of gotten into bigger fish but rolling solo I can only use one box anchor without consequence. The last 2 times ive tried to double anchor solo I broke my transducer. So even with the sway it was a good day!



On my way home stopped to grab a burger seen a guy digging in the sonic dumpster with his family 3 plus him in a sigle cab and you could tell they weren't doin good.... I have been blessed so I past them on. I bought everyone burgers fries and drinks. Fillet my 12 box fish and bag em and gave to them. Look like they needed fish in there stomachs more than I needed more in my freezer.

Now I have to go fish with tom so I can double my pb!

You should see peoples reaction when your fileting in the back part of a sonic drive through.... lol!

I wish I would have seen this this morning. I definitely would have joined you. I wanted to get out but I went to Bass Pro instead. Anytime you need someone to ride let me know I can put in on gas/food. God bless you for helping that family too, times are hard out here, we have to look out for one another.
