EARLY FEBRUARY FISHING REPORT

Cold Cold Cold

I really don't look to do a lot of fishing for a couple of weeks but if its fish you want it's all about Catfish now. Thankfully there is no shortage of Blue Catfish. It seems like there the only things feeding and using punch bait bought from Wooded Acres Campground is a sure bet for catching all you need. Throw a little sour grain out, drop your bait down, put your rod in the rod holder and get ready. It's a blast.

Also fresh caught shad works very well and I didn't mention it first because it's very hard to get right now but when you do have fresh shad it's a whole new ball game and one I love. This pattern of catching Blue Catfish on shad in the next couple of weeks is something to get excited about; I look forward to it ever year. It's completely different from catching sand bass and hybrid striper. Youre fishing totally different water, using a different technique thats taken people before me years to figure out. Im really fortunate to have Mentors with the kind of experience it takes to be a good Catfish fisherman and willing to share with me and it has paid off in big dividends.

Fishing is like any craft you are always working to be better and that's what makes it fun. Cat fishing isn't for everyone, but the people who like it they REALLY like it.

Our hybrids and sand bass are still a few weeks out. James Reed, Chris Watson, and I are ramping up for the best season ever. All three boats are all geared out and ready to go, IT CAN'T WARM UP FAST ENOUGH!!

I have a few weekends in March and April available and plenty of openings for weekdays. With James and Chris available for bookings, we have plenty of open dates and you should not have a problem in setting a date that will meet your schedule. Call us now to secure the best dates while they last. Hybrids, sand bass, crappie, and catfish are our specialty!!

Gift certificates are also available for birthdays and all special occasions, we always try to make those days very special for our clients!!

That was a very long time ago and yes I do remember it well and i'll tell you why.
It was the strength in his hand I remember.

The hybrid broke his wrist over and I watched him muscle his way back in control

Thanks for jogging my memory it's a good fish story and one worth telling

Good to hear from you

Morning Chuck

James and I give it a try and to be honest we caught more fish but hears the deal half of the fish were bluecat on slabs

I really never found what I was really looking for on the graph

The way Iook at that

It's another tool, and as we both you have to keep a open mind in the fishing world to stay on top of thesefish

Thanks Chuck

I really really hope we get some water !

You have to be a opper
