No need to even compare those two Monte.

But I do know this. All this talk about Legend having a great ride. Is this why they cancel their demo rides if the wind blows over 15 mph. Just saying.

I am a Legend owner. Deck space no problem. Storage no problem. Test drive both. No better ride. The comparison should be against Ranger or Triton.

I came out of a Champion into an Fx20. I have been very pleased with the new skeeter.

Folks a Ranger will never run a 100 MPH like a Bullet but a Bullet will never fish and troll like a ranger. I believe all brands make a good boat theses days. I got to fish out of the new FX 21 with Mark Pack last week and that is one really nice boat. I get to fish out of Boudreaux Legend about 30 days a year. They all have qualities that make each boat good in one or two areas. I just do not think there is perfect bass boat for everything. The best thing to do is just like what has been mention many times. Go take a test ride in the boats that have the qualities you like and buy that boat. just my .02

I've owned both and the legend is built much better and their customer service is far superior. You will sacrifice a little deck space though. If I ever own anything other than a legend it will be a Phoenix. Won't buy another skeeter

I am getting ready now to get me a new boat. I really like the Legend looks ride and attention to detail. I had a skeeter zx20 in 2006 and it was a great boat. I also really like the new fx20 for 2014. When stopped and fishing I like the Skeeter better. Running the lake and customer service and detail to boat Legend no question. Which dealer is best and close to you?? That is huge. If Legend came out with a 20 ft 2 in boat between the 211 and 199 and had a wider deck and was still great ride it would be hands down Legend. But as mentioned above the Legend is a little narrower and not as stable at rest but still a great boat. Plus the 211 I can take a 6 in jack plate and it will fit in my garage because it would be 23 6 and I have 23 9 giving me 3 inces to spare so would work. FX20 because tongue doesn't swing even with nose of trailer adds 3 inches and is 23 10 to fit, If they would just of swung the tongue even with nose of boat it would of been 23 7 and fit. I have a great Legend dealer within 25 miles from me and that is huge, I have a good Skeeter dealer within 60 miles. Both are really great boats. Like I said if Legend came out with a wider deck 20 foot model game over for me in all categories. Skeeter fx20 fishes more stable and flatter in water and wider front deck. Plus they do ride good in my opinion just not as smooth as the Legend but good. As mentioned a great all around boat. Yes 110 sales to 19 but that doesn't mean Skeeter is better just been around longer and much bigger company. Still good company in my opinion. I will probably go LEgend because to me the paint schemes and detail and customer service is so good!!

Go test drive the boats you are interested in owning and make your own decisions. You are the one that will be making the payments on the boat loan for several years so make sure you are happy with what you are buying.

I like the Skeeter deck the best of any I have seen. Even before I became a Skeeter owner. If fishing tournaments, Legend has a very good incentive program. Skeeter needs to work on theirs. It is way behind the times.

How about they drop the incentive programs and drop the price about $10,000? I like the stability, ride and looks of the Skeeter better so i spent my hard earned money on a ZX225 and don't care what anyone else drives. Legend makes a great boat also and i can see the advantages of a small boat builder that only builds a few boats and takes good care of their owners. Hopefully they will be around for a long time, time will tell.

Best all around boat would be a Champion Elite by Stratos. it's still the old Champion, just has the Stratos name. Biggest mistake made was when the new owners of stratos and champion droped Champion and kept Stratos! The got it in reverse! Should have droped Stratos and kept Champ name. Chaampion Elite has by far the best ride, especially in ruff water, plent fast, you can get any motor, and resale is awesome, great fishing platform, and great looks. Just my 2 cents.
