If you could only use one or the other for the whole day, would you use the Big Motor or the Trolling Motor for a tournament? Variables include nice weather, 5-10 mph wind, 30,000 acre lake, stained water, spring time!

I am of the belief that the only thing on the boat that needs to work in order to fish is the trolling motor. If the big motor or graphs go down you can still catch fish. A good Tm and batteries are a must!

Should have thrown in some TM options, 30 and 55lb thrust? Or even better 250 Merc or 250 Yamaha bolt

Big motor and anchor. Plus with a 5-10mph wind you can set yourself up to drift thru areas.

30,000 acres is big, without one or the other it would be tough. I would probably rather have my big motor and drift points.
