I know some good guides that are cancelling trips for the lack of good fishing, this ought to tell you something. That being said, you will always have guides claiming they are on some good fish.

Well one thing to remember with Fork is that if the bite ain't on you can drive 15-20 minutes to Quitman, Hawkins, Holbrook, or Winnsboro.

Fork is always tough. I think there's probably maybe A fish per 4 square acres. Don't ever look for Fork to be easy fishing if anyone tells you different ask to see pictures of the 3 or 4 fish he or she caught.

I agree, constant year round pressure and tournaments every weekend make it a real challenge.
