Got in my 500 DD's today. Great looking baits but very disappointed in the quality of hook. Very, very dull. Dumped them for some 1/0 Mustad triple grips and am now ready to see if I can interest some of the big ole gals down at Falcon.

I've never had an issue with hook quality on the 500dd or any 6th sense lures for that matter. They come with quality components, VMC trebles. I throw mine right out of the box no problem.

Agreed.....I just purchased about $200 worth of them last week and don't see any issues with the hooks.

Money makers. Hooks are solid the rattle on 500 DD is unique. Listen to it when you are pulling it up from 20 ft deep. Sounds awesome.

Not the best hooks for sure. But far from the worst i always replace mine with gama or owner. Gonna get some of the 500 series this weekend from APT and some more square bills!!! hehehe love their baits. Their new flat sided square bill is legit
