Has anyone launched a boat at 99 (choke canyon) recently? With the lake lower than last year I'm a little worried about launching my boat. (21 ft bay boat). I'm hoping to get a day off during the week soon to go look for some white bass.

Haven't been in about two months but 99 didn't look too bad then. We had our best luck putting in at south shore and running to the north side by the outlet. There's a sand bar there on the channel and we literally tore them up all the way into December on white bomber crank baits. It was so good that we actually got tired of catching fish.
