Opinions on the Dragonfly fishfinder that Raymarine makes.

I've been looking at both Raymarine and Garmin units and I'm surprised more people don't use them. They actually look pretty good but, I've never been on the water with one.

Hopefully when I get my tax return I will be able to give you a review. I have been eyeballing the Dragonfly for a while and finally talked my wife into buying me one.

Not sure about Raymarine, though they look good, but Garmin just recently stepped to the plate on inland electronics. I have been testing a couple of their new units the last couple of months, that will be coming out any time now. I can honestly say that these units are awesome! The clarity is unbelievable, priced reasonable, and DownVu, SideVu and conventional sonar are so easy to use. I'm pretty challenged when it comes to technology, and it took only a few minutes on the water to easily navigate these units. thumb thumb

Thanks for the videos David, I'm impressed. Worth taking a hard look.
