Would like some opinions on topwater baits you think are better than a Yellow Magic. I'm talking about open water topwaters, so frogs are out.
If you could only throw one topwater for an entire year, what would it be?

I would throw either a buzz bait, or what I would more than likely throw is the NEW Lake Fork Trophy Lures Premium Series Magic Popper. It is a really good bait that is quality driven. Can't wait for topwater season to roll around. That's just my .02.

Yes like mentioned above me the LFT Magic Popper is a great popper with quality hooks and paint job at a reasonable price

3 out 5 answers from sponsored guys. Funny. No offense, just funny. I personally throw a LC gunfish over any topwater but I did buy a lunker punker I can't wait to try.

Lunker Punker if you are after a Big bite. I wouldn't say that it is better than a Yellow Magic, just gives you another option. I also love throwing a buzz bait and Zara spook.

Haha, you LFT sponsored guys are doing a great job! Reaction Innovations Vixen or a Paycheck Repo Man are really good open water topwaters as well.

Great does not equal better. Personally, I've never fished any popper style topwater that outfishes a YM. RICO is good, too.
