I would rate them in this order 1. Austin 2. Mcqeeney 3. Dunlap
All three are awesome mcqeeney and dunlap dont have as much grass as Austin but are extremely fertile lakes it helps with all these docks where people put out fish feeders and lights .

Hey riverdogbone, thanks for sharing.

Cancelled our falcon trips for the next 5 years. We will be strictly going to Austin 6 times a year. Sold the boat in Amistad, moved a camper down there, and thinking about opening up a small bait shop called "The Biggest Fish in Texas".

If you ain't first you're last.

Does the boat ramp at the 360 bridge suck like the one up near the Lake Travis damn?

I have a Largemouth at home....sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Thanks. I have no idea why they made that boat ramp the way they did. I need to get down there.

Just don't park under the bridge or you'll be stopping at a car wash on the way home to wash off the bird poop.

Don't leave anything in the bed of your truck you don't want stolen and its a $12 launch fee. Other than that, its great thumb

Congrats on the nice fish! LA is a fun little lake, but as mentioned, it can be a major headache when the pleasure boats come out to play.
LA has been know on the internet for a long time. Some of you guys will remember the guy who posted the video of catching the giant bass that he actually kept in his live well then re-hooked them and put them back in the water so he could video reeling them to the boat. rolfmao
