Alright guys, I'm in market for another boat and was looking at boats the other day and I really like the legend options but they look like the deck area my be narrower than skeeters. I looked at the Alpha 211 and a ZX21 both with SHO motors. I'd like to hear your likes, dislikes about both and the ride quality of them.
I'm a big guy 6'3 250 and front deck size matters cause I take a lot of room.. Any help would be awesome...

I would go with legend because they go more room on the deck but that's me

You just cant beat that large casting deck on the Skeeters. It is a Terrific platform
that is really stable even with two people fishing from the front.I saw a nice looking ZX
that was for sale on the forum earlier. That's my opinion on the Skeeters not that familiar
with the Alpha 211.

I just bought a fx 21 it has tons of deck space. Never been in a legend so cant help there but i can assure the 21 skeeter has more than enough space hope this helps.

I've been in all both and like many of the features of each. You throw a Ranger in the mix and there is probably different categories for each.

My 2 pennies...I'm not as tall but at 6'1 and 300 lbs...I consider myself a "big guy".
I like the Legend 211 in rough water. The Ranger 521 would be next and then the skeeter 21i.
I like the Skeeter FX20 when it comes to speed. Then the Legend and Ranger next.
I like the Ranger 520 fishability and stability in water when (larger guys are in it), next would be the Skeeter then the Legend.
Finish work...Legend and Ranger. They tend to look a little more finished with trim work and etc.

I really don't think you could go wrong with any of them but make yourself a list of criteria important to you and grade.

I would give deck size to Skeeter for width length of deck to Legend. I would give better build and the ability to customize to Legend. The ride of both are good with the Legend having a little softer ride. The Skeeter would be a little more stable while fishing. I do not think you will go wrong with either boat. You should test drive both before you buy and fish out of both to see what fits you. just my .02

How does the Legend 211R compare? I thought the R-series design made the legend front deck wider. Can someone give us some info on it?

I have a 2013 211R and the deck right in front of the consoles is 72" at the front pedestal hole 60" These are inside measurements of actual deck space.

There's about half the storage space in the Legend vs the Skeeter...justsay'n, I can't deal with that...

On my 2000 ZX202(same size as ZX225 and new ZX20) it is 74" at the consoles and 61" at the seat pole hole
