Hey guys, wanted an opinion on this. Rod would be flipping 1/2 jigs to docks and casting 3/4 oz football jigs to cover. Don't want one too long as to break it on a hookset if up close to docks but need some backbone and the ability to handle 3/4 oz plus trailer. Kicker is i need to purchase it at gander mountain as i have a gift card. I am between Veritas 7'6" MH, Mojo 7' heavy slop n frog, or an omen heavy (last time i checked they only had a 7'11" heavy. Any opinions?

Ive got a 7'3" Omen heavy thats a fine rod at that price point. More sensitive than a $100 rod should ever be. Stout enough for fishin some serious cover as well.

You can't go wrong with the 7'6" Veritas. This rod has the perfect tip for helping me skip jigs under docks and a strong back bone for helping get the fish into the boat.
