Attempting to install an upgrade to my fish finder...first i have to remove the factory equipped lowrance x37. I have removed the panels from the rear deck and side holding the throttle and can see the transducer cable. The power cable comes in under the instrument panel and they run together into a single plug for the old unit. Trouble is i can't find the other end of the power cable. It appears to run to the fuse block however the fuse block wont budge even with the four screws removed. I don't want to yank for fear of unplugging something that i can't reach. 2005 Pro Team 175, Fuse panel is black plastic with four screws in the corners and a snap on cover. Is there some secret to getting the fuse panel to come loose? Should i unplug some of the harnesses and see if that gives me some slack?

Anyone who has done a replacement on a Pro Team, suggestions appreciated.

So the power cable from the old lowrance definitely ran to the back of the fuse block but there was just no way i was getting to it. I ended up chopping it off and sealing it up good. Ran new 14ga power lines straight to my cranking battery and got the transducer mounted. Can't wait to test her out but it seems the ice will keep it until at least next week or weekend.
