I still have the same old rod and reel
and same old lure I been using for years.
If I get hung up I just take my time
and get it loose and start fishing again.
I do replace the line every few years.

I was up to $175 on TW last night before I got smart and clicked out. I went and organized the boat instead, and found at least two of just about everything I was going to order...

Got my order last night from TW, had everything on the kitchen table wife go home she said more lures she just shake her head. She said that I have a addition.

I read two posts revolving around bait/lure selection and then went and spent $80 for next weekend (this weekend is already prepared for!), thank you TFF and TW!

Yea I have the same problem. 2 weeks ago $150 at tw. Last week $184 at gander mountain lol

We came to the conclusion that we may have more fun buying than fishing?

I consider shopping for tackle a hobby of mine.

$2,273 at academy and 500 of that was a trolling motor.
$367 at BP 2 days before a tourny and didn't even get top 5
miscellaneous amounts when we go grocery shopping at walmart. Damn this is addictive.

I run like hell from the tackle monkey everyday!!!

I had the monkey caged, but the Academy gift card sitting in my wallet set him loose. He's currently re contained; but restless, knowing there has to be a rod riot on the horizon, so then I'd have to buy a new reel or two for the rods.
