They are in the creek but they move around-so not always where they were before-
It's a guessing game of hide and seek every trip out there-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

You have to lose a minimum of 25 cast nets before you get that information... grin

not sure if the shad can make it to Grennville Ave. but just North of there is a low water dam but down stream from there just North of the Rail Road and south of skillman there is an area of what appears to be rock that chokes down the creek not sure if the shad can pass there I would think they could if there is some depth around the rocks. Wear some good polarized Glasses so you can see them during the day in the shallower water areas.

The thread on guided gizzard shad trips, all this shad are from White Rock Creek. Netted up 110 lbs in one throw today. Yesterday was the same thing. And the day before it. And everyday before.....ect.

So ya. They there.

2centsI sat at the goforth bridge or whatever the name is and saw a Guy stand on the right side bank facing south towards N W Hwy and threw his net in a hole about 5 yds south of the bridge a consistantly pull um out. He said there is a hole there that they always congrigate and if he missed he`d just wait a few mnts and cast again and more often then not there they were 2cents

Save the money of 10 nets, Tarponfly knows the spots, and they do move. He also knows the hazards. He is part shad. Well worh the money 10 times over. I have had fresh bait every week since I went on his trip.

There is a hole there but if you are off by 2 feet, bye bye net. I can't throw that accurate...

I have never thrown my net at Lawthur. Not one time. Everytime it floods a new log might roll into ur honey hole. I don't throw the net unless I can see them. I can see millions of shad at one time. I throw a log to bundle them up and in one cast, 100-200 lbs.
