That would be convenient, as long as they don't put spots in it like they did with Alan henry

Could be, but that was written in 2011. Haven't heard any more about it. I hear more about the proposed lake east of Post than I do about Lake #7. White River still has the permit, but they have had it since the 1930's or 40's. IF they make that lake, it would be a flatter shallower lake and be used as an intermediary pumping station for the water from AH. If something doesn't happen soon, they say AH may be dry by 2016, unless people do not stop watering their lawns as prescribed in Water Rationing Stage 1 and 2. Who knows? Out of our hands, as far as I know, anyway.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Spotted Bass. They have been known to decrease the black bass population cuz they love the taste of eggs.

What do they expect these "lakes" to be filled with? Sure won't be rain filling them up.

Do any of you guys make it out to the other Canyon Lakes? I'm on a kayak and want to check them out as soon as it warms up. I dont see why TPWD wastes money on trout when they could easily increase the bass and panfish population around town.

They will come take the farmers water away before they build a new lake, and continue to let the oil field got unregulated.
