I'd be interested in Fork. Where do ya'll put in at? I've typically fished Little Caney but would be up for wherever if ya'll don't mind me joining.

I have a couple places in mind. I'm no Fork expert, I was thinking we could discuss where we wanted to launch that morning and go from there. I'm open to any ideas anyone has in mind.

Oh man, I wasn't planning on fishing this Saturday but I might have to now. How far is Fork? Heck, I haven't even taken my yak off my Jeep from last weekend... might as well!

Hey Aggie a couple of us are going out to Fairfield as well Saturday, it's a warm water lake and probably cloer for you than Fork? Just throwing it out there. Not trying to steal anyone away from Fork lol.

The 515 east ramp is an easy paddle from Glade Creek. There is a bunch of grass in that area and a good place to catch a big one if you like to fish shallow

Thanks Michael! I was thinking about the Glade area. Come on out Bobby it's going to be a lot of fun it's looking like we will have a nice group of anglers turn out. I've got several commits from guys not posting on the thread.

I'm about 80% sure I'll be there. I'm trying to talk a friend into making the trip up with me.

I've got several commits from guys not posting on the thread. I'd be going moreso to try and learn a little bit from some of you bass pros. I've been skunked 3 trips in a row and it's making me want to hang up the yak until March. I don't care about a lunker, I'd be happy with a few dinks just to gain a little confidence. I'm about 80/20 in. Shooting you a text now.

I just bought my first yak and am getting pretty comfortable in it. I would have liked to come out and meet & fish with y'all but I just had to send my Sonar/GPS back to Lowrance because it was flaking out. I guess I'll have to pass this time.
Hopefully Lowrance gets her fixed quick.

Pictures please. Wish you and Jackie could make it Mark! If we are fortunate enough to catch a couple I will make sure we share them with everyone. Hopefully Lowrance gets her fixed quick. Fork is a pretty easy lake to fish without a fish finder. Just flip every single tree that's in the general area we decide to fish and you should get some bites.

Another good kayaking place is running creek. It's full of grass and protected from wind pretty good. You can put in at either end of bridge on north side. There's a small drag involved and a little mud but could be worth it. There's a partially submerged bridge south of hwy bridge and a whole bunch of kayak pleasure north. Good luck to all. If I didn't have a date at another east Texas lake I'd join yall
