A friend of mines father recently passed away. He is looking for a charter to take him out the required 3 miles to spread the ashes offshore in the Gulf. Does anyone know any boats that may do this, leaving out of Port A or Corpus area? It would have to be a boat large enough to accommodate approximately 10 persons. Thanks in advance.

Try these folks.

There also are BAS services in Galveston and Freeport. Don't ask how we know.
Hope this helps the family.

I did not know of the 3 mile rule. Was shark fishing the Port A jetties a few years ago and saw a boat right off the end scattering ashes. Always wanted mine scattered on the North Jetty. I try to stay within the law always but not sure I'd care much what the law says in something of this nature though.
