For the Cobra owners out there where do you have your console electronics mounted with the rail right in the way of putting the ram mount where i would like to.
Trying to put 997 Bird on console

This is what I did. It's the largest ram mount you can buy from Bass pro. I took the bottom piece off and clamped it to the rail. It isn't going anywhere...Sorry for the image quality, its dark and cold...

I have the same mount but I left the base on mine and used 2 ss u bolts to hold it on rail this gives you a little more positioning option's ..
