I am curious, does anyone use them? And if so, what are your opinions?

I sold my navonics chip and bought the lake master and I have been disappointed ever since. IMO the navonics chip is much more detailed and accurate.

I currently use the navionics too, but found some of the features of the lakemaster pretty interesting. Like the color coded depth and the water level offset. I was just wondering what others opinions of it were.
Thanks for the feed back guys.

Thanks for the feed back guys. Those features are exactly why I sold the Navonics chip and went to the Lakemaster chip, but like I said above I have been disappointed with it ever since. Some on here may have better luck with theirs and maybe I don't have mine set up correctly but I have not been impressed with the color coded offset. I set mine to look for any depths between 16-22 FOW and I was getting anything from 13' to 29'??? I would gladly trade you my Lakemaster chip for your Navonics chip if it is the Platinum Navonics chip. Clay

Interested in which lake you had that experience. No map is dead-on accurate in every location, but if your lake was a standard definition map it will be less accurate than a high definition map. Also, regardless of the map, it is important to reset the map for the current lake level by using Water Level Offset, before using the other contour settings. Steve LakeMaster

Steve LakeMaster I fish "Wright Patman" and "Lake of the Pines" in East Texas. HB 1198 even using the water level offset, am not impressed with LakeMaster accuracy.

I fish Palestine and a few other lakes close to me and have been disappointed on all of them. Not trying to bash on your product but it can't compare to the Navonics chip as far as I am concerned. This is my experience with both and I have spent lots of time on the water with both and I find the Navonics chip more detailed and much more useful, especially on a lake you have never been on. Clay
