First time back to Texoma this year since last June, It was a beating today had one on and lost it and had one fallow a jerk bait right up next to the boat that was between 8-9lbs. I can't believe how low the lake is between last time out in June till now. Anybody else struggle as bad as I did or is it just me seen lots of boats on the lake today. I don't hardly struggle on this lake, but it is a first for me to be on it in the winter. Water temp was 45-47.

I was out there today myself. Only caught two on a crankbait. Threw a jerkbait until my arm wanted to fall off and never got a bite. Did mark a few more brushpiles though.

If you would've left that jerkbait a little longer without moving it, you would be talking about a trophy that you caught. Good luck!

I went out there for 4 hours last wednesday. It was my first time out there in about a month and it seemed like the water had fallen a lot. And, it seemed like the water has dropped a ton since October, I could be wrong, but that is they way it seems to me.

I'm just learning the lake and I've been out there about 8 times now. I have never had a great day out there but seem to catch a fish or two every time out. And usually it's a decent fish. My trip on Wednesday I spent three hours fishing everything I thought looked good. I threw cranks, spinnerbaits, a swim jig, and a shakey head and had nothing. I spent the last hour using my graph to follow contour lines and ended up with 1 fish on the a-rig. It wasn't a great fish, but it was a chunk, the belly was getting full, lol . I really don't like fishing the a-rig, but i was hoping to scratch out a fish or two. The bite on the rig was different than I have experienced, usually it feels like they are taking the rod out of your hand. But on this bite, it just felt heavy kinda like a jig bite.

Either way I had a good time getting away from the phone and spending a few hours on the water. I really hope we get some rain soon.

Every lake is a beating right now. The highs in the 30s and lows in the teens this week won't help. A few guys always find some fish, but the vast majority struggle to get a bite or three.

The lake is fishing tuff right now, caught 1 short fish yesterday on a jerk bait. Everyone I talk to said the same, 1 or 2 fish. Last Sunday caught them good on the jerk bait in very shallow water. Hopefully I can figure something out in time for next weekends BLT event.

We got lucky Saturday. Had a pretty good day. They don't look like it in the pic, but the biggest was 4.58 and total weight was just over 21. We caught about 20 fish during the day about 17 of them came on a 100 yard stretch. Went back out Sunday for a few hours and didn't even catch a fish in the same spot fishing the exact same bait. That's Texoma

Now my temp maybe off from yours but it was 45 in high port when I left out and 47 at the end of the day in little mineral.
