I have used hidden hills cabins near broken bow. The cabins and prices were reasonable. I stayed in their cabin called Rock Ridge (insert blazing saddles joke here) last time. It was 2 bedrooms kitchen grill hot tub, fire pit, the works.

We have used cabinsinbrokenbow.com for a few years now. They have several cabins of different sizes. Most have hot tubs.

Are there any that back up to the river in a area kayak fishing would be a possibility?

There's one called Thunderbird,it backs to a river, real nice, never stayed there but have seen it, it can be hard to get because it stays pretty booked. I have seen people fishing the river all around the area it's in.

Brad/Shaun, my friend has stayed at this place on the Lower Mountain Fork a few times. It's about 4 miles south of the Hwy 70 bridge, so it's about 7 miles from the rereg dam. You can drive to the rereg dam and put in, and take out at your cabin. Seems like a decent place. I don't think everyone in our group could make the paddle so we haven't tried it, but I may try it with a smaller group once.

I think this would be a cool area to get a group of kayak fishermen together and do some recon this summer!

YaknAggie and I went a couple years ago with a group of friends and had a blast. We stayed at "The Captains Quarters" you can check it out at www.lakemountaincabins.com there is also a place next door called "The Burgundy" They were both very nice and right on the river. We put it at dam and paddled all the way to our cabin... about 7 miles. We also fished basically all weekend from the bank below our cabin and didnt even get a bite.... but was alot of fun

Our normal group is going to the LMF on May 16-18, and we will float the river from the rereg dam to either Hwy 70 or one of the cabins that are about 4 miles south of the highway.
