Just picked up a diawa exceler 100h for $34.99 from cabelas in Allen. Pretty good deal on a reel that usually runs 89.99. They had about a dozen left if anyone is interested.

The 100H is 69.99 at Allen must have gotten a lucky deal?

They ring up 69.99, but there is a sign on then end of the reel section that says 34.99. I had to have them call back to verify price, and it all worked out. They had about a dozen left.

Ask the guy in the fly fishing section. As you coming in to the fishing area walk past the fly area and then the reels are on the right. At the far end corner they are there in silver boxes. Worst case, ask for bill or bob or something close to that, in the fly fishing area. He should remember me as he had to call up to the front cashier.

Is the 8.8lbs of drag listed for these (I think I read it on the cabelas) correct or is that a typo? I was gonna buy one till I seen that.
