The lower creek? Bachman Branch?
If you don't mind walking a bit, you can park at the boat ramp/rowing club parking lot then walk along Shorecrest, then walk down the other side of the Denton Road bridge.

You could also park at Stroker's and walk up Harry Hines to the creek. Then when you are done fishing, grab a bite to eat at the Ice House Bar/Grill.

Park at Strokers. Walk towards bridge along side harry hines, Follow trail down the side of the bridge. You will see a big hole there that holds all manner of fish. Pockets or pools down stream towards 35 hold bass and cats, and small 'gills. Carp and buffalo abound EVERYWHERE. Creek is shallow but holds a lot of fish.

I would forgo the burger at the Ice house and drive down a few blocks to Club
Schmitz. Sit at the bar and schmooze with the old timers and the only beer you may pay for is the one that comes with your meal. I always get a couple free rounds from those guys. The burgers there are Primo!

Club Schmitz, cheese burger fries and a few beers and that's the perfect post fishing meal. Enjoy...

Watch out for the big gator that was confirmed by Dallas PD as living down there, in the muck by 35. According to the two officers I talked to, he is in the 10 ft range. Bigun!!
