looking for ideas of fishing trips in Mexico for me and my girlfriend memorial day week.
right now we're thinking los Berilos at Van warmers resort. Catching tuna and dorado and sails.

Where have you been and had a great time and didn't break the bank?

I live in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico on the Sea of Cortez.....Dorado, Marlin, & Sails will be biting good in a couple of months.....
Google Catch 22 and or Pull them up on U-Tube ? Fernando is one of the best and will treat you right....
You can rent a House, Condo, or Motel (house is better all the way around)... this is a very beautiful place..... Google the area and check it out...... I am not on the board much now so if you want to contact me send e-mail (it is in my profile)......
Mazatlan, Mexico is another great place.....

Good luck and happy fishing.....

Gerald

Van warmers resort is a great place.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

I just got back from Cabo San Lucas yesterday. The fishing is always great there. Right now they are catching a lot of striped marlin and some tuna. We went out for a 1/2 trip thursday and had 4 big striped marlins before 10:45. We trolled back and picked up several Dorado for dinner.
Price of a boat ranges from 500.00 to 800.00 for 8 hours and you get what you pay for. I recommend Minervas Fishing and Tackle. She is an american that has been down there 30 years and has 4 boats. Top notch and she takes care of you. www.minervas.com

Plus Cabo is the best spot I have ever been in Mexico. Safe & clean with lots of american stores like sams walmart costco for grocery shopping etc.
