My list for 2014 in no particular order
1. Enter at least 1 tournament (I have never competed but I would like to try it.) 2. Get on some BIG fish (Probably Cats but I would take just about anything.) 3. Take at least 1 person, who has never been kayak fishing, out with me. 4. Purchase a new main kayak (Thinking Ride 135 right now) 5. Catch at least 5 different species. 6. Hit the Saltwater (Inshore for now. If i get my new Yak I may find some people to BTB with.) 7. Fish with my dad (This one never leaves my list)
There are definitely more things that I would like to accomplish but that is what I have for now.
I would love to see what you guys have on your lists.

These seem more like goals than a bucket list.
Here's mine:
Kayak below the Hoover dam. Kayak the Florida keys overseas paddling trail. Kayak trunk bay. Kayak fish for Snook and tarpon in Florida.

Also in no particular order: * tarpon on the fly * Shark-a-Thon * Encourage as many new kayak fishers as possible * Participate in more outreach (HOW, Reel Recovery, Casting for Recovery, RISE, etc.) * Increase the awareness of multi-species fishing thru education and camps * Achieve TPWD Elite Angler status

My goals for this year:
8-foot shark 6-foot gar Double digit largemouth Tarpon Sailfish 50+ lb paddlefish
I have trips planned specifically for all 6 of those goals, with several trips for a couple of them (sailfish specifically... will be in FL a few times this year). I think the DD largemouth will be the one I fail at probably.

Its funny, most of these bucket lists include locales down south. Mine are up north: Alaska, Canada, Great Lakes.

I can help you with #3 on your list. I got my first fishing kayak for Christmas and can't wait to go fishing. I have taken it out a few times just to get the hang of paddling and purposely left the rods at home.
I have learned more from this kayak forum than I could have imagined. So thanks to all that post, looking forward to fishing with a few of you in the Lewisville / Denton area.
