Me and the wife are gonna put in at the ramp by the bridge there on Sunday but we haven't fished there. Any pointers on where to go would help. Where after lmb crappie maybe even cats. Anything will help. Thanks

I would say head upstream towards sanchez creek and keep your expectations low smile Not a lot of water but I would imagine you could find some fish in some of the deeper spots. If granbury had more water and the mouth of the river wasnt so silted in I bet the sand bass would be amazing this year. regardless you should be able to find some resident LMBs and some nice ones have been caught up there. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Federale is right on. I used to fish up there for sand bass. But the low water & golden algae has put the hurt on the fish there.

One of the easiest places to launch and it is free.
They fish for crappie around the bridge right below there.

I have fished there 3 times and got skunked twice. The last time I caught a crappie, a lmb, and a small gar. All of those were caught on the south shoreline just east of the bridge. I went pretty far east and didn't get another bite. I went west the previous times and never got a bite. I'm not an expert but I can usually at least catch sunfish on my flyrod if nothing else is biting but that area almost has me beat.
