Is there any way to view my Lowrance Elite 5 HDS Hot Maps from my pc at home? I would like to manage my waypoints after a trip and maybe install new waypoints before I g to a new lake.

I don't know how to manage my waypoints on the computer but, I buy a spare power cable for my gps/fishfinder. Then I buy a 120vac/12vdc 5amp power supply. I hook the spare power cord to the 12dc power supply. With this i can manage my waypoints and plan trips in my den. The spare power cable is $35-$50. and the power supply is $18. When using this set up you have to put the map orientation on North because you are not moving. It works for me. I hope this helps

Thanks setexfisher. In 2005 I used a program called Map Create for my Lowrance 322. If there is not a program I can use on my pc I will do the same thing you are doing. I will give Lowrance a call today.

I sit in my lazy boy and plan trips. This set up is priceless for tourneys also. Can revise plan if needed in room with tourney partner.

I just got off the phone with Navionics. They are going to release a web app that will all us to manage our maps from a pc. The lady I talked to said it could be any day. She also mentioned a company named Fugawi that had compatible software that would work. Their software is $99. Think I will just wait and see what Navionics has to offer.
