Xcite Reaper Craw. They liked it at Welsh, but of course, it's Welsh. They pretty much bit everything.

I've never fished it, but the Live Target bluegill square bill looks amazing. I think I'm going to try some from TW.

I use Excalibur, KVD, Bandit and Rapala..

I have been wanting to try out some of the Xcite squarebills.. Hopefully they catch as good as they look!

I will second this vote. I've really enjoyed the XB-1's since I got some. Although Im not partial to one specific brand. Sometimes I'll throw my old beat up, worn out KVD's with good success.

Hard to beat a KVD and the price. The 6th sense, excite etc... are great baits also but the only real difference between them and a KVD is the price and the ability to catch more humans. They cost more so they must be better right?....wrong.

Not all squarebills are created equal. Some have tungsten rattles and weight transferring systems to help with casting and staying true on retrieve. Some are silent and some have different sounds than the norm. A good squarebill will outlast a cheaper one as well. Less breakage of bills etc.

My wife caught a bunch from the back of the boat with a Bandit Flat Max Shallow Baby Bream.
It opened my mind to someone catching fish with a totally different shallow CB and retrieve that I used to cover the same spot.
