Great carp....can I ask where you fished? And what bait you used. Unless of course its a secret location. Lol Thanks Mike

These were caught on LBL near I35. It doesnt really matter where you set up out there, carp can be caught from any place you can cast a rod. Fished with mainly fake maize.

You guys just had a time out there.I figured you or Richard had been doing some hauling out there somewhere.Congrats on a spectacular session! Fish like that can draw a crowd, we might have to set up stands for the fans next session. It seems that anytime massive commons are CPR'd( catch photo released) on LBL the name Viet Carper is spoken. Thanks Viet Carper!

Question. Does anyone know if the fake maize is hurting the carp or buff's in any way? just curious.
Trying to catch anything that swims. Commons, Buffs, whatever.... Wild Carp Club-Houston

Fake maize rarely comes off your hair rig,so it's almost a non factor.I would mainly be more concerned what we are putting in our method mix that's actually eatin. If humans can almost handle the pounds of plasticized hydrogenated fats( amongst the other pounds of unnatural food we eat every year) that have been put in our foods for half a century, I'm thinking the rare ingestion of a piece of plastic corn would have neglegable consequences to a carp, but I may be wrong.
