We'll I'm a very competent angler and we hired a guide for fork because we hadn't ever been there before and also wanted to learn something about the electronics...spent the longest day on the water catching nothing to speak of and he didn't take any time to point out anything about electronics...at the end of the day I spent close to 400 bucks for nothing other than tooling around the lake...I'm an excellent learner and a competent angler, but you hire a guide for a fun day on the water and the chance to catch fish and learn something tangible so if you don't boat anything at least you learned something but not in this case
