I have never fished this lake, going to do so in a couple of weeks with a few friends.

Anyone have suggestions on where to stay? I will only be there one night, would like to find somewhere that has a boat ramp.

There will be 4 of us

Thanks for the help

Shady Glade in uncertain would be good. They have a boat ramp, rooms and good little cafe. Excellent breakfast.

That would put you a lot closer to the big lake depending on where you want to fish. State Park is fine too, but it's a pretty good run to main lake from there.

Johnson's Ranch has some cabins on the lower end of things, if you're just looking for a place to sleep. It's in Uncertain as well just down from Shady Glade. Hodge Podge Cottages is another one on that strip. They're pretty nice.

I recommend staying at Hodgepodge cottages and using the ramp at Shady Glade ( 300 yards from Hodgepodge ). You can eat breakfast there too.

As for Big Pines.. I went 2 weeks ago and it was Aweful.. not near the same place it was before it burned. I would HIGHLY recommend eating at RIVERBEND instead.
