Been a long while since I've hung a fish and Fastguy was the go-to man today! Saw Polar and Dennis and Jackie out there plying their methods as well. First place Fastguy stopped at was loaded! He knew right where the mother lode would be and turned the thump machine on and it was magic! Took me awhile to hook one and George was about 5-6 fish up on me before I landed the first one. Fattie sandbass galore!!!! Hybrids? Pffffffff...these sandies were huge! Kept 10 for a fish fry with the SIL when they come up Thursday to visit with us. Only two males in the 10 I cleaned.

Thanks for the trip, George, and the tour of some fantabulous homes! Fastguy is the bomb!

Your name came up but it was favorable. hammer

Always fun to fish with 'fin. we looked around a bit but always in the same area. Saw several boats that I haven't seen here recently. Fish have been staying in 38-41' water and they show up bigtime on the DI mode. We kept moving around switching from SI to DI and holding on them with the I pilot.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

Man, looks like we missed the party. Fished with Etu, FishBoy12 and dad. We looked for the regulars of CC to say howdy but we did not see many on the lake where we were fishing. Great lake, we had a great time!

Do you know what dirty sox smells like?

I wondered who that was with George - figured it was Snaggin Steve. But glad you got to come down to CC and get out with George. No hybrids for me today either. Only 10 sandies and 5 yellows there at Pitts Point. Much better at East Hump.

Fastguy has the ideal set-up; his wide-screen Hummingbird is the berries, especially with the features (shows the actual creek channels) and the entire screen is dedicated to guess what - looking at as much of the lake as possible! What a radical idea (insert other brand here)! I didn't think about any hybrids - these were some of the biggest sand bass I ever remember catching! George hauled one in that appeared the belly was gonna explode all over the boat! Thing probably weighed 3-4 lbs.! His I-Pilot got a work out again! Pretty neat when you don't have to climb up on a pitching front deck to run the trolling motor - just stand back by the console and fish yo' a$$ off, let the electric do the work for you.

I was dancin' to da beat right before we called it a day and went on a home tour...there's a bunch of rich folks with million $$$ week-end get-aways on that lake!

Cleaned ten BIG sandies at the house and they're resting now for the fry Thursday.

Thanks again, George! Always a hoot and sore arm adventure with ya!

Two famous fishers in the same boat, and they even waved at me. May have been the one finger salute, but they was bizzy catching fish.

Sounds like the dream team had a great day!!

I am hearing great things about that thumping machine. I would be interested in seeing a picture up close of it in the boat.
