Ill make it known if its a spot I don't want a million people fishing to not tell everyone or beat it to death. If they do it anyways well..... They are a douche and I won't take them fishing again.

7777 sure I agree but when you take a new person to a good spot and you tell them dont bring people and next week you see them bringing a group is that ok

I know your feeling man. I once told a so-called friend about a bait hole. He went back and cleaned it out. Shad and carp have never returned like they were. Come to find out he put them all in a tank in his yard. I have never shown ANYONE a place that I want. That man not only screwed up my bait hole, He screwed up me trusting anyone in the future, I don't know witch is worse.

No it's not ok. Is there really a need to even ask? You simply told them to not do something, and they did anyway. People should have enough respect and not show anybody that spot. You did them a favor, the least they could do is not tell anybody. But sadly, that's not always the case.

If its a public lake it's not secret, be happy he's catching fish and maybe he will take you fishing one day. If it was secret and you were worried about it you should not have taken him, this theory of secret spots drives me crazy , at any time those fish can swim away and your secret spot is just a fishing hole you caught fish at before. Really guys Ive spent many hours on the lake finding and following fish and when I find them it's just the spot that we met up that day. Tomorrow they may move to the next cove or five feet deeper and the " secret spot" becomes a new location. Try sharing all your spots and you won't have to worry about which fishing buddy you can trust and which one you can't.
