Very nice job! I don't know much about the Whalers but see where a couple post called them unsinkable. What makes them that way? What are they made of?

Thinking about putting her on the market. Haven't started it at all last year, newborn twins are eating up my time. It will need a carb cleaning, I can do it or u can. Has a new 70lb power drive v2 with I pilot. And a new Humminbird 688DI that has seen water twice. Looking for 4k title in hand. Next time I get down to the lake house ill get some current pics.

What type of coating did you use on the inside of your boat? It is a rhino lining type coating or something specific for marine use? I'm about to remove the carpet from my boat and want a similar finish to what you have in your whaler.

Thanks

Can we see current pics, particularly the interior? How long a boat is it? I always admired this project and have considered buying something like this.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

To tell you the truth I probably talked about selling alittle soon. I need to give this boat a good cleaning and the carbs rebuilt, I just need the time to spend a day and do it. I will not, nor have ever sold something that is not in a condition I would buy it in. I have had several people want to come look at it and some even ready to go pull cash. Sorry guys I broke rule #1 on selling, I posted before I have the goods ready to go. In time I'll have her shined up and purring like a kitten again. Truly an amazing old boat.
