I've got a 2003 Mercury 60hp Bigfoot 2-stroke on my pontoon, but I'm looking to re-power to a 90hp. My question is, what years would be plug and play and would a 4-stroke of any year be plug and play?

TIA
Bret

Pretty much anything newer than 2003 I think. Does your motor have a big round I think it a 13 pin harness?

even if you have the old 8 pin harness merc makes an adapter to change it over to the new 13 pin control cables are the same.

I'll have to check on that. Not sure. Thanks for the response.

Hey thanks! Wasn't aware of the adapter plug. Opens up a lot of options. Any idea on the four strokes? Is it the same controls, or completely different?
